Kid Shows starting Saturday MAY 2nd and 3rd
KID SHOWS
Show Location = Northbrook Court Mall
Stage = Top Note Music House (store is to the right of the Apple Store)
Performance Fee = $60 (100% Goes towards renting the store for at least 2 weeks and stage props)
Door Fee = FREE!!!
Invite Your Family and Friends (There is room for at least 60 people to sit, more if you stand)
*Performers Check In = 45 Minutes (Safe), 30 Minutes (Pushing It), 20-Under (Rough)
Enter and Exit at AMC or Cali Pizza Kitchen
*Be aware that if your practice ends at 6pm or 7pm the Mall is probably closed so you can NOT roam the mall, this will put our shows in jeopardy if they feel like I’m the cause of all these rules issues.

RECORDING AT MY HOME APR 28-29-30
**COME TO MY HOUSE TO RECORD, LAST WEEK OF APRIL, Normal Lesson Time & Day
Since I’m able to move the kid shows 1 extra week later in May, this gives them all extra practice vs the past, we will record during the week of the 28th now, then play at the mall that weekend.

You can be heard on video if you’re loud during some of the quieter young kid performances. Also the younger kids get easily distracted by talking in the crowd so PLEASE try to be aware of your volume DURING the INTRO and PERFORMANCES down to a minimum.

**Many songs have Combos of = bass, no bass, Guitar, No Guitars, solo, no solo etc
Total Amount Of Files For Backing Track Creation = 500+
**i buy each song, i edit each song in GP8, each song is then broken into 4 files via backing track software, then i edit in Cubase tempo/drums/Mixing etc, different play along versions For Students (3-5 here alone), these files go into 4 different computers/laptops, Dropbox, iTunes etc, it’s a mess

Do you have any conflicts if the shows are = Oct 26 & 27th?
I will try to choose the dates with the least conflicts but for years the show date has ALWAYS BEEN, 3rd weekend of the month. This Semester there’s oddly enough 27 weeks, this means we can bump the show to the 4th weekend of the month and gain the extra week for training. Then we record the following week (really knock out the songs in those sessions) and start on the new semester songs following that.
