“Mike Walsh’s guitar lessons STINK! Ahem… now that I have your attention I’d like to tell you about how amazing Mike is as a guitar teacher.
First off, I came to Mike for guitar lessons after attempting to learn on my own using the Fender Play app. While it is convenient and cheap, you miss out on so many things that you can only get from in-person lessons. Some of the extremely unique experiences you get from Mike’s lessons are (1) recording sessions in a professional studio equipped with thousands of dollars worth of equipment; (2) Organized group performances at a real venue in front of real people; and (3) band jam session where you get to play the songs you have been learning with a real drummer and bass player.
Mike spends countless hours preparing lesson plans to ensure that his students are getting the most value for their money. I was skeptical at first about lessons, but I can now say with 100% confidence that a 60-minute lesson is far superior to a 30-minute solo lesson, especially considering they are the same price. Mike truly cares about his students even after the lesson has ended. I strongly encourage you to schedule an introductory lesson with Mike so you can learn all about what he has to offer.
