“I am a 50 year old professional and began taking guitar lessons as a way to build a new skill and hobby. I have now taken lessons for a year with Mike and never could have believed the amount of progress I would make. I have never played a musical instrument and was afraid my lack of experience and lack of musical ability would make this experience frustrating. I was very wrong!
Mike’s methods helped me build the basic skills and his approach to learning is fun. I never expected I would accomplish what I have in the first year, which included recording songs in Mike’s studio, video recordings playing the songs we learned, practicing songs with real band members in a live setting, and a jam session with band members to experience what is like to write a song. When I talk with friends that have played guitar for years, they can’t believe what we have done in only the first year. I am excited to continue to build my skills and know I have the right teacher to help me accomplish my goals.“
