The highlight of the instruction is learning full songs and playing them in front of your family, friends, and peers.
Learning how to perform through videos, recording sessions and live shows has been the most motivating for me; it has helped push me to be a better guitarist and has strengthened my sense of accomplishment.
For years, I would pick up a guitar and play for a week, and then I’d put it away for months at a time.
